Suicide is the biggest killer of men aged 20-49 and 1 in 3 of us will have a mental health problem in our lives. 

We followed the life stories of 8 people who have battled with mental illnesses. From the first time they noticed symptoms right up to present day, breakdowns, recoveries and everything in between. 

Our cast included every day people through to World Heavy Weight Boxing Champion Frank Bruno, who lives with Bi-Polar and was (in)famously sectioned (controversially as the worlds press watched on)  as well as Tony Blairs former advisor, Alistair Campbell, who suffered a mental break down at a Labour Party conference..
